“The mystery of creation reveals itself most fully when we pause to notice something small and simple, like dew caught on a single blade of grass.”
Something small and simple can indeed be passed by so easily as we move through our days. Yet, there they are just waiting for us to pause.
I do not know why I seem to see what others pass by when I am out enjoying the “mysteries of creation”. Like this beautiful short video of the Alpine Cliff Fern blowing in the breeze in the rocky, exposed alpine zone of Gothic Basin.
“Whenever your heart space, your mind space, and your body space are all present and accounted for at the same time, you can experience pure presence, a moment of deep inner connection with the pure, gratuitous Being of anything and everything. It will often be experienced as a quiet leap of joy in the heart.”
Just This by Richard Rohr
There is a mystery to it all for sure and it always seems to take me by surprise. Like this beautiful Trillium and its fleeting shadow that passes so quickly.
Oh, those fleeting moments that pass us so quickly.
Let them linger a little longer, please!
On the path together,
John
